Choir Members

Long term membership is one of the features of Haydock Male Voice Choir of which we are particularly proud, with 24 men having enjoyed membership for 25 years or more. Our longest serving member is baritone, Albert Hardy with over 60 years service. He is seen accepting his Diamond Anniversary award below from conductor, Alan Herbert. Jim Foley, Top Tenor has just celebrated his 50th Anniversary, together with brothers, Bill and Denis Anderton, also in Top Tenor section, having celibrated their 40th Anniversary.

However, new life blood is essential for any organisation to replace those who leave for whatever reason. We have managed to attract 19 new members during the last 10 years plus another 5 new members during the last few weeks! Have a look at our Join Us page to see if we offer what you're looking for.

It is with great sadness that we report the death of Cliff Squires (second tenor) who had joined the choir relatively late in life but was a very keen member.
