HMVC have a busy concert schedule over the next few weeks, and in just over a month's time we have the privilege of welcoming a choir we sang with nearly 2 years ago, Aughton Male Voice Choir! Whenever we have another choir coming to join us its always a fabulous occasion, and as well as the gents from Aughton MVC, we will also have our latest brilliant guest soloist, Oliver Railer! This really does have all the makings of another fabulous evening at our home venue, Ormskir

We've often spoken on our social media pages about how lucky we are at HMVC, to be able to call Ormskirk Street United Reformed Church our home venue. Last month we were able to give something back, as the church has recently been celebrating the 50th anniversary of the occupation of the current building, and our HMVC Shanty Choir took part in their celebrations yesterday! The Shanties performed 6 songs from their repertoire, which were very well received by the churchgoers!

Word has reached the choir of the success of our first concert this year, and the whopping amount of money that was raised on the night for Nazareth Orphanage. We share the good news in the letter below, and thank all the men of the choir and our audience on the night for supporting such a worthy cause.
